Hero ways, Zero waste

 

Waste Management is a local issue with global implications. As the world's population continues to grow, so does the amount of waste being produced, and as waste generation increases, so does the importance of having an effective solid waste Management system in place. However, cities and local governments face many challenges when it comes to properly managing their waste. As a result, it is estimated that at least 2 billion people live in areas that lack waste collection and rely on uncontrolled dumpsites (UNEP and ISWA 2015). Inadequate solid waste management systems present serious risks to human health, teh environment, and livelihoods in many cities.

 

Waste management is the collection of all thrown away materials in order to recycle them and as a result decrease their effects on our health, our surroundings and the environment and enhance the quality of life Waste management practices differ for developed and developing nations, for urban and rural areas, and for residential and industrial producers. Waste Management flows in a cycle: monitoring, collection, transportation, processing, disposal or recycle. Through these steps a company can effectively and responsibly manage waste output and their positive effect they have on the environment. 

Our environment has the greatest impact in our life. We depend on it because of the essential benefits such as the air we breathe, food we eat, water we drink and also the materials needed in our homes, work and for leisure activities. By managing it properly, we can improve our quality of life. Unfortunately, most of the time people don't care about what they are doing which might destroy or ruin our environment. Wastes are everywhere, which is why, we should learn how to manage our own waste and not contribute in making this planet more miserable.  Learning some waste management concept and principles such as  Waste minimization 

(Reusing (or promoting the reuse of) materials in their original form as far as possible, Separating waste into different streams at source, before it is collected for recovery and recycling purposes, 

Diverting waste from landfills through appropriate mechanisms and facilities, and Facilitating the processing or treatment of any recyclable waste, in an economical and environmentally sustainable manner),

Extended producer responsibility, 

Polluter pays principle, and The Talloires Declaration will help us understand and do the work faster. You can also segregate your waste,  re-use it or re-cyle it, minimize the use of uneco-friendly things, and be responsible so that, you can inspire others and help to end the issue of waste management. Improper Waste Management might be impossible to stop, but as long as we all cooperate, we will slowly prevent it on getting worse and help heal the world.
